Finding True Love – Liza’s Story

For Liza, it was about creating the man that she knew she wanted to marry, her ideal future husband. Beginning with a list of 109 items, she visualized the person who would be everything she ever wanted, her perfect match…

"I sat down at Starbucks on a beautiful December day in Los Angeles and wrote down the list of 109 things I wanted out of my perfect relationship (my coach told me it was a magic number and that it somehow worked for people). Writing down a detailed action plan (that I followed!), was the start to an amazing journey.

I met Paul exactly three months later… He is not only everything on that list of 109, he is far beyond that. OK, he still doesn’t care for dancing (which was one of my wishes, but he did take a dancing class for our wedding, that counts for half a point, which makes it 108.5!) We now have three precious boys: our three-year-old Michael, and his one-year-old identical twin brothers Robert and Eric. We are truly blessed.

Before meeting Paul, I once got a question at a public speaking meeting: “What is true love?” I simply answered, “True love… once you experience it, you will know it!” It was only after I met Paul, that I could finally say that “I knew it!” I could not have even possibly imagined how incredible life could be when you are truly in love with a man who loves everything about you, adores you, worships you, and will do anything for you. I’ve written lots of other lists in my life and manifested so many other incredible things. Yet, nothing else, no matter how wonderful it is, even comes close to meeting the love of my life.
